LIST YOUR PRIORITIES FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY.
What is THE most important thing about your wedding day? The way you look? The venue? The food? The photos? The entertainment? The videography?
Think long and hard about this. If you want your guests to have a fantastic meal ... make food #1. If you want them to gasp when they see you in your dress ... that's #1. If you think it's the capturing of memories, photographer and videographer should be at the top of the list. If you want a party that will have your guests enjoying the entire evening and remembering for a long, long time, entertainment should take top priority.
Make that list from the most important to the least important. Then match your budget the same way. Spend the most amount of money on your top priorities and the least amount on the least important.
Naturally, every vendor wants their services to be at the top of the list but realistically, we know that our respective services aren't always up there. The Music Guys provide DJ and MC services. Our ideal clients are couples whose priorities are to have fun-filled receptions that will have their guests dancing, laughing and smiling all night long.
Most of our former clients normally have us within the Top 5 of their priorities. They understand that quality entertainment charges quality prices because they will provide quality services. Quality wedding dresses charge quality prices because they will provide quality products. And so on.
You CAN get cheap prices for the services that are not priorities! There are inexpensive photographers, DJs, caterers, etc. that are a fraction of what the quality vendors cost.
So determine your priorities. Spend the most money on the things that are most important to you and scrimp and save on the less important.
And have the wedding day of your dreams!
